My Story

Fern & Fate began long before it had a name.

​

After becoming a mother, I found myself searching for the person I used to be. Somewhere amongst the beautiful chaos of new motherhood, I had quietly lost touch with myself. I knew I was still there, but I wasn't quite sure how to find my way back.

​

It was during that season of my life that I discovered tarot, spirituality, and the gentle rhythm of nature.

​

What began as curiosity soon became something much deeper. Each tarot card became an invitation to reflect. Moonlit walks became moments of stillness. The changing seasons reminded me that growth isn't always loud, and that even the smallest beginnings can bloom into something beautiful.

Little by little, I found myself returning. Not becoming someone new, but remembering who I had always been. Fern & Fate was born as a place to document that journey — a quiet corner of the world where I could share tarot, reflections, and the moments of everyday magic that helped me reconnect with myself.

Over time, it became so much more.

​

Today, Fern & Fate is a sanctuary for kindred spirits. A place for those who find comfort beneath the trees, who look up when they see the moon, who believe that nature has something to teach us, and who know that sometimes a single tarot card can say exactly what our hearts needed to hear.

I believe that magic isn't reserved for extraordinary moments. It's found in the warmth of rain on a summer afternoon. The quiet chatter of our chickens in the garden. The feeling of standing beneath the stars and remembering that we are part of something much bigger than ourselves.

Nature has an incredible way of bringing us back to ourselves.

When we slow down enough to notice her rhythms, we begin to notice our own.
